When to book your newborn session?

The best time to photograph a newborn is when they are under two weeks of age. After two weeks, babies are a little harder to settle and things like colic or baby acne can start to flare up. You can contact us at any point during your pregnancy to give us an estimated due date, and we will then make a tentative booking. When you arrive home from the hospital with your baby, you can contact us to arrange a suitable date and time for your session.

How long will your session take?
Newborn sessions take around 3–4 hours, allowing you plenty of time for feeding and comforting.

Ordering
You can order your prints by emailing us with your selections. An invoice will then be sent back to you with payment details. Payments can be made by credit card, debit card, or cash.

Proofs
About 2 weeks after your session, you will be invited to a viewing session at my studio or I can come to your place. You will be choosing your favourite images from 30 pictures. When a decision is made, the full payment of your package is required. Once full payment is received, you can take your beautiful product home.

Makovka Photography reserves the right to use any photograph in any form such as, but not limited to, the use in advertising, reproduction, and copyright. All images are copyrighted by Makovka Photography, even those you purchase. Due to the custom nature of photographic products, no refunds will be issued.
